Our story
Built by window cleaners, for window cleaners.
Every pole we sell was designed by people who spend their week holding one.

A pole that does not twist
Reach Poles was created in 2023 by a small team of window cleaners who saw a need for a lightweight, strong window cleaning pole that did not twist and wear out like traditional poles.
Our range was the first to hit the UK market with Anti-Spin Technology built into the pole itself — like a woodruff key — so the sections stay aligned and the clamps last.
Every pole is made from carbon fibre with two insulated bottom sections tested to 80kV, and weighs approximately 1120g for the 18ft pole — among the strongest and lightest available.
We are continually developing the pole, and over the last twenty-four months we have made many modifications. In June 2025 we launched a completely new version with new clamps, and we believe we have the best pole in the market at the best price.
What we will not compromise on.
1120g
Ultra lightweight
Carbon fibre with two insulated bottom sections, so the pole you pick up at eight in the morning still feels light at four in the afternoon. An 18ft Type R weighs approximately 1120g.
Patented
Anti-Spin Technology
A key built into the pole itself, like a woodruff key, stops the sections rotating under load. The pole stays aligned and the clamps stop wearing out.
80kV
Look up before you extend
Every pole leaves us with two insulated bottom sections tested to 80kV. It is a last line of defence and nothing more — electricity arcs across gaps, and no pole is safe near overhead lines. Distance is the only thing that keeps you alive up there.
New from Reach
Reach Gutter Vac Poles
The same thinking that went into the water fed range has gone into a clamped 51mm gutter vac pole, built for professional gutter clearing rather than glass. Lightweight, rigid, and quick to put up and take down on a job where you are working off the ground all day.
Every kit is tested and certified to 80kV, because a gutter pole spends its life up at roof line, near the service cables. The two lower sections are fibreglass for exactly the same reason.
Kits come with a 135° neck — a clamped carbon neck or a silicone flexi-neck, whichever you prefer — plus a carbon and an aluminium nozzle, and a quick release so sections come apart without a fight at the end of the day. Individual sections and necks are sold on their own too, so a broken pole is a section to replace, not a kit to rebuy.

80kV
Tested and certified
A certified pass up to 80kV. A last line of defence, never a reason to work near overhead lines.
51mm
Fits your vac
Compatible with all 51mm gutter vacuum systems, so it drops onto the kit you already run.
20–40ft
Kit lengths
Built up from 152cm sections, in five kit lengths from 20ft to 40ft.
460g
Per carbon section
Black carbon sections weigh 460g each; the fibreglass base section is 580g.
