Making a pole longer
An extension is a 1.7m section that adds roughly 5ft of reach. Extension sections do not carry Anti-Spin, so for a true Anti-Spin pole use the pole on its own.

Older poles
Not necessarily. Before September 2024 we also sold pure carbon fibre poles, and those pure carbon bases are not insulated and are not safe for electrical working. If you are not sure which you have, send us a photo and we will tell you.
